Iran fully prepared if US tests its power: Araghchi

Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has warned that if the United States wishes to “test” Iran’s power, the country is fully prepared to respond. Araghchi made these remarks in response to a stern warning from U.S. President Donald Trump regarding potential military action against Iran.

The Foreign Minister stated that Iran remains vigilant and prepared to face any scenario. He highlighted that, particularly following last year’s 12-day war, Iran’s military capabilities have been significantly expanded and strengthened beyond previous levels. These remarks are viewed as a demonstration that Iran is undeterred by U.S. warnings.

Araghchi noted that despite the looming threat of military confrontation between the two nations, diplomatic channels for engagement with the U.S. remain open. Additionally, referring to ongoing anti-government protests within the country, Iran has accused the United States of being behind the unrest.
