The Parliament session for President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu to deliver this year’s Presidential Address has been scheduled for Thursday, February 5th. According to the Secretariat of the People’s Majlis, Speaker Abdul Raheem Abdulla has decided to hold the first session of this year’s first term at 9:00 AM on that day.
The first session of the Parliament each year is dedicated to the President delivering the Presidential Address. During this session, the President will speak on the state of the nation and outline the government’s vision for the future. Additionally, the President has previously stated that he will share details of the government’s achievements over the past two years with the public in this address.
