Abdulla Faiz has been appointed as the Chairman of Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC).

Faiz, who has more than 30 years of experience in the business and tourism sectors, has previously served as Chairman of Maldives Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC) and State Trading Organisation (STO). In addition, he has also held positions as Managing Director of ADK Trade and Shipping, Director to the Chairman of Villa Shipping and Trading, and Director of Marketing and Promotions at Villa Hotels.

Faiz is among the founding members of the Maldives National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Maldives Traders Association, MASI (Maldives Association of the Seafood Industry), and the Restaurant Association of Maldives. He has also been a life member of the SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry since 2001, and has served as Vice President of the organisation.

Abdulla Faiz holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Australian Institute of Business.
