Criminal Court convicts Mamdhuh in K-Park fraud case

The Criminal Court today ruled that 94 out of 104 charges brought by the state against Hassan Mamdhuh (Mandey) in the K-Park flat sales fraud case have been proven.

Although sentencing was scheduled for last Thursday, the hearing could not proceed because Mamdhuh was not present. Mamdhuh was brought to today’s hearing under police custody.

Judge Ali Nadeem determined that the charges proven against Mamdhuh include 46 counts of fraud, 44 counts of deception, one count of money laundering, and 3 counts of providing false documents. The judge also ruled that several charges against Jaishan Saeed, who is accused of involvement in the crime, have been proven.

A hearing is scheduled for next Tuesday to determine sentences for the proven charges and to decide on the remaining unresolved charges.
