The  in the northern Maldives has been awarded to Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC).

President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu participated in the special ceremony held in Dhuvaafaru for awarding this project. The agreement for road construction was signed on behalf of the Ministry of Construction and Infrastructure by Minister Dr. Abdullah Mutthalib, while MTCC was represented by its Managing Director DCP (Retired) Ahmed Saudee.

Island officials and atoll authorities also participated in this ceremony.
