President of the Republic Dr. Mohamed Muizzu and First Lady Sajida Mohamed arrived in Dhuvafaru, North Maalhosmadulu Atoll, this morning for a one-day visit.

During the President’s visit, the commencement of practical work on several development projects in Dhuvafaru has been scheduled, along with marking the completion of certain projects.

During this visit, the President will also participate in the official ceremony for this year’s Fishermen’s Day scheduled to be held tonight, as well as various other activities currently underway in Dhuvafaru to commemorate Fishermen’s Day.

On this trip, several ministers and heads of some government institutions are accompanying the President.
