Government’s Core Philosophy is Stability, Development and Security: President Muizzu

President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has stated that the policies of the government and the guiding philosophy of the People’s National Congress (PNC) are built upon ensuring the nation’s stability, development, and security.

Speaking as the guest of honour at the official session of the PNC Congress held at the Social Center last night, the President said that the government and the party would move forward on the foundation of prioritising national interest above all else, drawing on lessons learned from the successes and setbacks experienced throughout the country’s long political history.

Highlighting that the PNC is a responsible party, he emphasised that supporting Islam and reviving and nurturing Dhivehi national identity remain the most important duties. He added that national interest would always be the top priority in shaping both domestic affairs and foreign policy.

The President further stated that efforts to deliver essential and infrastructural services to the public, and to take the country to new heights of development, would be carried out with reference to the three core principles of stability, development, and security.
