Fire at Aman Dhoni Tower damages building’s water pipes

A fire broke out today at Aman Dhoni Tower 1, a recently constructed building where residents have begun living, causing damage to water pipes in several flats, Fahi Dhiriulhun Corporation (FHDC) has announced.

In a message sent by FHDC to residents of the tower regarding this incident, they stated that due to the fire causing damage to the building’s water pipes, as a safety precaution, they are requesting residents to exercise caution when using water. Specifically, the corporation has instructed residents not to use water and drainage services in all rooms except the master bedroom of the 6th unit on each floor, as well as in the utility area.

According to information provided by FHDC, this incident occurred due to garbage that had been dumped on the ground floor of the tower catching fire. They also stated that work is underway to further determine the direct cause of the incident. The corporation has already begun repair work to assess and fix the damage caused to the building by the fire.

In connection with this incident, FHDC has also advised residents to be mindful of waste disposal procedures. The message reminded residents that dumping garbage anywhere other than designated waste disposal areas in the building is prohibited, and urged them to refrain from such practices.
