Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has stated that US President Donald Trump’s rule will end in a humiliating and bitter state, similar to the fate of historical tyrants Pharaoh and Nimrod. Speaking at a ceremony in Tehran, Khamenei asserted that divine law dictates destruction and loss for those who arrogantly use their power to oppress weak nations.

Khamenei made these remarks at a time when tensions between Iran and the United States have reached extreme levels, following the US withdrawal from the nuclear deal, the imposition of sanctions on Iran, and the assassination of Commander Qasem Soleimani. Political analysts describe this as a strong retort to America’s hardline policies.

While the White House has not yet officially responded to these comments, Trump has previously accused Iran of being the world’s leading state sponsor of terrorism. It is anticipated that relations between the two countries will further deteriorate following this warning from Khamenei.
