As part of the events held by President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu during his visit to R. Dhuvaafaru to commemorate Fishermen’s Day, the project to construct 50 housing units on the island was handed over to the Housing Development Corporation today. Additionally, the project to develop the roads of Dhuvaafaru’s reclaimed land to modern standards was handed over to MTCC, and the project to establish water and sewerage systems on the island was also handed over to MWSC.

However, the government has not yet disclosed details about the cost of these projects and their duration. The President also inaugurated a Maldives Islamic Bank ATM service in Dhuvaafaru today.
