MIRA Launches New Website and Mobile Application with New Services

MIRA’s new website and MIRA’s new mobile application have been launched with new functions. The aim is to provide tax related information to taxpayers as easily as possible and to facilitate them in completing tax related arrangements.

The new website and mobile application were launched by Commissioner General of Taxation Fathullah Jameel and Chairman of the Board of Directors Ahmed Saruvash Adam at a special ceremony held at MIRA this afternoon.

Looking at the new features on the MIRA website, all MIRA forms can now be completed and submitted through the website. The new website has also introduced a ‘live chat’ function. MIRA has also included interactive guides to provide easy access to important tax information. In addition, the website is designed to provide easy access to tax laws and regulations, statistics published by MIRA and other important news.

The new mobile application will also provide access to many of the services of MIRA’s online portal ‘MIRAconnect’ for filing and payment of tax returns and ‘VaaruPay’, an online portal for accepting other taxes and fees accepted by MIRA. Also, the mobile application allows you to identify important tax deadlines and send reminders to your phone calendar. In addition, token numbers can be taken and the queue order can be easily viewed through the mobile application. Also, appointments and information sessions for tax related information can be requested for through the mobile application.

The MIRA mobile application is now available for download from the Google Play Store and Apple’s App Store.
