Former president Yameen has sought permission to form the newly formed political party People’s National Front (PNF).

The logo and colour of the party formed by Yameen have also been made public last night. The colour of the party has been chosen as the Burgundy colour. It was also used by Yameen for the People’s Alliance, which he first created.

The name and logo of the new political party floated by President Yameen was shared on social media late last night.

The former vice-president Dr, Jameel, who was instrumental in the formation of the party, lead today to submit the Election Commission application to form the party, together with former Minister Maleeh Jamal and former Commissioner of Police Hussain Waheed.

Maleeh Jamal, who also led the formation of the party, said president Yameen had decided 4 officials to ask for permission to form the party on behalf of him.
