Former Vice President Ahmed Adeeb and former MMPRC Managing Director Ziyath, who were serving sentences in the MMPRC graft case, have been pardoned and released.
Reliable sources have confirmed to “Khabar Online” that both of them will be released today after President Solih pardoned them for their conviction in the MMPRC corruption case.
The MTD, founded by Adeeb, also issued a statement announcing his release.
President Solih has pardoned Adeeb and his release will be an opportunity to strengthen and unite the party.
