A group of people poured black oil on Coca-Cola, KFC and Pizza Hut in Male’ city last evening.

It is learnt that a group of people with their faces covered were found to have entered the premises and poured black oil. Apart from black oil, they have also threatened to stop their services. However, none of the people who came with their faces covered attacked the staff present at the establishments.

According to those who issued the warnings, those businesses are funded by Israel.

The police rushed to the spot after the black oil was poured. Police have been deployed in the area where the crude oil has hit the area for further investigation, a senior police official said.

There is wide spread campaign  that has been launched around the world, a boycott of some international companies in the wake of Israel’s barbaric attacks on Gaza. In Maldives  a group of Palestine supporters is also signing a petition calling for a ban on Israeli tourists coming to the Maldives.
