The government has released a permanent list of beneficiaries of 4,000 flats under construction, under the government’s ‘Gedhoruveriya’ scheme.
The Government Gazette has released a list of beneficiaries of 4,000 flats. The list was made public separately for those who got two-room flats and three-bedroom flats. According to the notification issued by the Housing Ministry, those in the permanent list of three-room flats include those who have scored above 76 points. According to the Housing Ministry notification, those who are in the permanent list of two-room flats include those who have scored above 73 points.
According to the Ministry, the draw will go ahead with the allotment of flats to those who are selected. According to the Ministry, the date and time for attending draw will be notified through the portal.
Those who are not among the beneficiaries of 4,000 flats, but have been declared in the permanent list as eligible, will be given a written undertaking through the portal that they will be allotted one of the housing units (flats), to be carried out by the government, the Housing Ministry said.
If a couple has been selected to get the flat by submitting separately, then only one flat will be allotted to the couple. Or, only one flat will be allotted to a person selected from among the couple.
