No deal with Democrats, but will get space: Dr. Muizzu

When the cabinet and senior government positions are formed, he give as much as he can for the Democrats, who will follow his words fully, President-elect Mohamed Muizzu said.

In an exclusive interview with The “Sun Media”, Muizzu said there was no consensus, but acknowledged the democrats’ efforts together.

We don’t have any agreement with democrats. Even at an informal level, i have said that we don’t have a specific agreement. However, there was a lot of effort. We were working together in the same “Jagaha” (political arenas) in Male’ city and in the islands. That’s what I accept.

Dr. Muizzu said.

He said he would form a “clean government” that would include “as much as possible” with those who are also capable from Democrats.

So, if we include as many people as possible, a government with as many people as possible involved, a clean government, if the people see them in front of the people, there will be people who believe that it is possible to do so.

Muizzu said.

Dr. Muizzu said his cabinet would be formed with educated, competent and people of both genders.

He also said that while serving the nation, he would be appointing those who feel that they can do as much as he wants and what he wants. At the same time, there is scope for political parties that come together, Muizzu said.
