President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih on Wednesday afternoon signed the book of condolences opened in memory of the late Ibrahim Manik. The book was placed at the Dhivehi Raajjeyge Adu (DRA).
In his message, the President highlighted the dedicated service history of the late Ibrahim Manik and described his passing as a significant loss to the nation. The President wrote that the late Ibrahim Manik set an excellent example during his 27-year-long service.
The President further wrote that the late Ibrahim Manik was instrumental in promoting the local entertainment industry and noted his role in the progress of television and radio broadcasting in the Maldives. The President concluded his message by praying to Almighty Allah (SWT) to grant the late Ibrahim Manik’s soul eternal peace in Jannah.
The late Ibrahim Manik passed away last Wednesday, November 30, 2022, while undergoing medical treatment in Bangalore, India. He was 72.
