President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih will be departing for an official visit to India on the invitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the presidents office reveals. The visit is to take place from August 1-4, 2022.

During the visit, several high-level discussions will take place between the governments of the Maldives and India to further cement the two countries’ strong friendship and development partnership.

A Maldivian delegation of senior government officials and representatives of leading businesses will accompany the President on this visit.
